RULES AND REGULATION FOR BATTLE OF THE BANDS

• ∙A total of 8 bands will battle for the BACK TO THE CITY battle of the bands crown.
•  Band will perform original songs composed by them; Rendition and covers will be act as an automatic disqualification.   
• All band must prepare three sets for the band competition (a minimum of six original songs)
• ∙Bands must be prepared to play a set of at least twenty minutes including set up time.
• ∙For every minute exceeding the twenty minute limit, the band will be penalize
• 3 points from their total score.
• ∙All competing bands are strongly encouraged to promote spreading the word regarding the Battle of the Bands stage as crowd interaction and response will be part of the judging criteria.
• ∙Any distasteful behavior, and/or damage to BACK TO THE CITY FESTIVAL or surrounding equipment or supplies will result in an automatic disqualification.
• ∙A "Performer" consists of many different things. For this events, we require both instrumental and vocal performance for judges to deem you a band.
• ∙BACK TO THE CITY FESTIVAL will not be held accountable for any broken equipment, injuries, or any other negative occurrences outside of our staff’s control
